Antonio Rapuano is a Ph.D. student in Automatic Control, Bioengineering and Operations Research (ABRO) at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering "Antonio Ruberti" (DIAG), Sapienza University of Rome.
He received his M.Sc. degree in Control Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome in 2025, with a thesis titled "Nonlinear Predictive Control of the Continuum and Hybrid Dynamics of a Suspended Deformable Cable for Aerial Pick and Place". He holds a B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sannio (2022).
His research activity is supervised by Prof. Antonio Franchi and focuses on Modeling and Control for Aerial Robotics. He is currently involved in the SOAR-TOUCH project and collaborates with the Robotics and Mechatronics (RAM) group at the University of Twente.
