Research funds represent a key “fuel” and at the same time a key issue for performing research. Prof. Vinit Parida, in many years of work in the Swedish and international context, matured a considerable experience in how to attract research funds.

The peculiarity of these funds is that they are industry oriented funds and thus the presentation will focus on sharing “tricks and tips” on how to approach funders and industry, while achieving high impact publications.

Indeed, acknowledging the role and importance of research funds, and conciliating this with the need for research production, is a key competence for PhD students, but also for younger researchers who already obtained their PhD.

At the end of the seminar, there will be time for Q&A and open discussions.
