Helmholtz Humboldt Research Award for foreign researchers of the Humboldt Foundation, April 2005. It allowed a research sabbatical at the DLR Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics of the German Aerospace Center in Wessling/Oberpfaffenhofen (near Munich) from September 2005 to May 2006.
