How to use the Library |
Timetable: The Library is open from 8.30 to 19.30, Monday to Friday, except during holiday periods. Consultation requests are accepted up to half an hour before closing.
Access and Consultation: Everyone is permitted to borrow books if they have a valid photo ID such as an identity card, driver’s license or passport. Volumes taken for consultation must be returned the same day, at least 10 minutes before the closing of the Library, and must not leave the premises of the library. Workstations are available to registered users
Loans:
Volumes purchased with research funds: Volumes purchased with research funds are available exclusively to the researcher until the conclusion of the research, up to a maximum of four years. Loans for extended periods are available, up to a 20 volume limit.
Penalties: In cases where books are not returned or damaged, the holder of the loan will be excluded from library services and will be required to purchase an identical copy of the lost or damaged volume.
Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery: The Library service can provide and request interlibrary loans of books and articles. The service is free and available for external libraries with reciprocity agreements The material is provided or solely for the purpose of study, research and personal, non-commercial use. The service is available for DIAG staff and students.
Photocopies: Users are permitted to reproduce library materials in accordance with copyright law (Legge n.248 del 18 agosto 2000 e successive modifiche)

Library Commission: * The Consiglio di Dipartimento appoints a commission to the DIAG Library for two academic years, and consists of three members, one graduate student and the Director of the Library |
