DESCRIPTION:AbstractWandercraft is a french Paris-based company developing 
 Atalante\, an advanced lower-limb medical exoskeleton enabling wheelchair 
 users to walk on their own legs once again\,  certified as a medical devic
 e and commercially sold in the EU and in the USA. This talk will present A
 talante\, with focus on its development\, on the challenges posed by the a
 pplication\, on the methodologies employed to solve them and on the techni
 cal solutions put in place\, both at the hardware level and at the softwar
 e and control level.BiosketchGabriele Buondonno received the Bachelor degr
 ee in Computer and Control Engineering and the Master degree in Artificial
  Intelligence and Robotics both from the Sapienza University of Rome.  At 
 DIAG\, he took his PhD in Automation\, Bioengineering and Operations Resea
 rch in 2018. He was then a post-doc with the French National Centre for Sc
 ientific Research (CNRS) at LAAS in Toulouse. Since January 2020\, he has 
 been working at Wandercraft as R&D Control-Command Engineer.
