DESCRIPTION:PhD program in Automatic Control\, Bioengineering and Operation
s Research (ABRO)2020 ABRO Course on Advances in Automatic ControlCybersec
urity and Control Mattia Mattioni and Salvatore Monaco\, DIAG SapienzaIn t
his module it will be shown that the notion of almost equitable partition
provides the natural setting for developing a ‘geometric’ theory of multi-
agent systems interacting on a di-graph. Two applications will be consider
ed: the characterization of the multi-consensus and the conditions for dis
 turbance decoupling.

\n\nBiografia: \n\n \nMattia Mattioni received his Bachelor Degree (La
urea) and Master of Science (Laurea Magistrale) in Control Engineering fro
m La Sapienza\, Università di Roma (Italy)\, both Magna cum Laude. In 2015
\, he received the double degree for the Master de Recherche en Automatiqu
e\, Traitement du Signal et des Images (M2R ATSI)  through the bilateral a
greement STIC&A with Université Paris-Sud. He received the PhD in System a
nd Control Theory in 2018 from La Sapienza\, Università di Roma (Italy) an
d Université Paris-Sud (France) through a joint program with DIAG 'A. Rube
rti' (La Sapienza\, Università di Roma) under the supervision of Salvatore
Monaco and Dorothée Normand-Cyrot. In 2019\, he was recipient of the Prem
io SIDRA 'Miglior Tesi di Dottorato 2019” for the best Italian PhD Thesis
in Automatica. In 2019\, he was also finalist for the Prix des meilleures
thèses du GDR MACS et de la Section Automatique du Club EEA for the best P
hD Thesis developed in a French University.  From October 2018 to August 2
020\, he was a post-doctoral fellow (assegnista di ricerca) at DIAG 'A. Ru
berti' (La Sapienza\, Università di Roma). From October 2018 to August 202
0\, he was a post-doctoral fellow (assegnista di ricerca) at DIAG 'A. Rube
rti' (La Sapienza\, Università di Roma). From August 2022 to July 2025\, h
e was Assistant Professor (Tenure Track\, RTDb) at DIAG 'A. Ruberti' (La S
apienza\, Università di Roma) where he has been Associate Professor since
August 2025. He's been member as an Associate Editor of the Conference Edi
torial Board of the IEEE Control Systems Society since 2022 and Correspond
ing Member of the IFAC Technical Committee on Non-linear Control Systems s
ince 2020. \nHis research is mainly concerned with hybrid systems\, networ
ked systems and nonlinear systems under sampling and time-delays.\n\nkeywo
