kbp-hvnv-iio AbstractThe 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent
a goal for many governments in order to enable future generations to have
the same opportunities as present ones. In a global\, digital context whe
re there is not always the availability of the raw materials needed to ach
ieve the ecological transition\; the analysis of sustainability goals is q
uite complex. Balancing the three dimensions (environmental\, economic and
social) requires the use of quantitative approaches to provide decision m
akers with useful tools to optimize resources. This seminar proposes the r
esearch activities that from the concepts of sustainability proposes to as
sess degrees of performance of European countries and Italy toward achievi
ng the 17 SDGs. Focusing on SDG 7 (Clean Energy and Affordable) the focus
is on photovoltaic systems and their contribution in the residential secto
 r. The sustainable development framework then considers the implementation
of such systems within renewable energy communities by indicating the ena
bling factors for their success. Future research directions and possible c
ollaborative synergies will be combined with some managerial and policy im
plications geared toward a pragmatic model of sustainability\, i.e.\, prot
ecting all categories of stakeholders.Short BioIdiano D'Adamo is Associate
